About the project
As part of our project at Forvis Mazars, we addressed three key aspects:
- Optimisation of sales processes in Salesforce:
The aim was to make sales processes more efficient and adapt them to the specific requirements of the company. - Integration of complex compliance requirements:
Forvis Mazars’ strict specifications were seamlessly embedded into the optimised processes to ensure the highest standards. - Data integration with peripheral systems:
Customer, sales and compliance data from Salesforce was successfully distributed to various connected systems to create a consistent and centralised database.
After the initial go-live, we supported Forvis Mazars in the continuous development of the system and its adaptation to new requirements.

Background information & problem definition
Forvis Mazars attaches great importance to compliance as an essential part of its processes. A central element of this is the performance of extensive compliance checks before opportunities can be pursued. This includes, among other things, completing questionnaires for customer and risk assessment.
The previous procedure caused a high manual workload for employees, especially in the compliance department, and was very time-consuming. The objective was therefore clear: to integrate compliance processes into Salesforce in order to create a centralised system for customer, deal and compliance checks. In addition, Salesforce was to serve as a data source for other systems, e.g. for automated project creation in an external project management system.
Approach to solving the problem
To overcome these challenges, we implemented the following actions:
- Capturing customer requirements and translating them into actionable user stories
- Project coordination, including the management of nearshore resources
- Mapping internal quality and compliance requirements directly within the Salesforce sales processes
- Integration of peripheral systems to enable the smooth exchange of customer, compliance and sales information
- Revision of the authorisation concept to enable the onboarding of new user groups
- Refactoring of existing solutions, including migration to Salesforce Flows and introduction of standardised patterns

Compliance requirements are reliably met thanks to clearly defined permission steps embedded in the process.
