How our integration works

Projects from Salesforce are synchronised with awork in two ways:

Creating a project

Once an opportunity has been successfully completed, it is converted into a project, which is automatically sent to awork. In Salesforce, you can define which values are created in awork via the interface.

Synchronising the project

All changes within awork, including time tracking, can also be transferred back to Salesforce at any time. This makes it easy to process reports, invoices and similar documents from Salesforce at any time. The times recorded in awork are then automatically marked as billed.

    Our package offers the following structure: Project, Project Member/User, Time Entries. On the awork side, we have the following objects as targets: Projects, Project Members + Roles, Project Status, Project Template, Time Tracking

    The frequency of synchronisation is user-defined and can be done manually or via scheduled Apex jobs. This means that anything from every minute to every month is possible – depending on your requirements.

    Yes! We encourage this, as we do not want to restrict the user in terms of operation. The configuration is based on the respective Salesforce instance and can be adjusted in detail. This naturally includes validation rules, workflows, flows, etc. to automatically transfer the correct information to the target fields.

    The integration extends the project management advantages of awork with the CRM system from Salesforce. Salesforce can act as the main system for storing all company-specific data. By transferring projects and times, it is possible, for example, to build invoicing software on top of it so that the entered times are automatically billed.

    Since the data is only recorded in Salesforce and awork, it remains on your local systems. This means that we at Aviando do not have access to your data at any time, so you do not have to worry about its security.
