Cleanups are something we have done many times. With our office right on the Rhine, we have a great starting point and have walked the riverbank together more than once to collect litter along the way.
Green Aviando
Sustainability at Aviando
At Aviando, sustainability is a firm part of our values, and we live it from within. We deliberately take time to run sustainability activities together as a team, because real change comes from taking action yourself, and everyone can make a contribution.
Zero Hunger Run
Another highlight was taking part in the Zero Hunger Run in Duesseldorf. So many motivated people came together to raise money for a good cause through the kilometres they ran, and the Aviando team was right in the middle of it.
Team activities & challenges
We also run team activities with an incentive for a good cause on a regular basis. One example is Moving May, where we collected kilometres for charity. Another was an upcycling workshop in which we turned old tins into pretty vases and brown glass into candles.
Supporting charitable organisations
We regularly support regional social organisations and projects. We have tied quarterly targets to donation amounts or raised money together through internal challenges, for instance for the Diakonie Duesseldorf, the Markus Haus and the Froschkoenige.
