Your benefits with us

What you get at Aviando, beyond the salary.

We try to bring out the best in every team member, and we create spaces where you can do your best work.

  • It's all about the balance

Flexibility is important to us, both in terms of working hours and location. You decide whether you work fully from one of our offices, hybrid, or 100 % remote, so you can keep work and life in balance.

  • Office Base

We have two offices, one in Düsseldorf, one in Cologne, and a coworking space in Frankfurt. In all three places we create spaces where Aviandos feel at home, work in focus, and meet whenever they want.

  • Boost your fitness

Your fitness and health are covered too: we offer a subsidised Urban Sports Club membership. Pick yoga, the gym, a trampoline hall, or whatever else you enjoy.

  • Your Office, Anywhere

Like a bit of variety and want to work from abroad for a while? Not a problem. We've already tried a workation or two and would love to hear about yours.

  • Have fun … lots of it!

We invest in a strong team feeling through shared quality time, office days, regular team events that bring every Aviando together. From a festival or a Holo-Café to a weekend trip to Portugal, we have already pulled off a lot of great events.

  • You grow, we grow

Aviando is the result of every individual on the team, which is why we want to pave the best possible career path for you. That includes support for your personal training, covering certification costs, and counting learning time as working time.

Our application process

Five steps, transparently explained.

We tell you ahead of time what to expect: surprises in an application process are unfair.

  1. Application

Once your application reaches us, you'll receive a confirmation along with an invitation to the first interview.

  2. HR Interview

You meet our HR team so you get a first sense of Aviando.

  3. Functional Interview

Depending on the role, a functional interview follows with one of your future colleagues.

  4. In-person meeting

You join us in person at our Düsseldorf office so you can build a fuller picture of Aviando before you decide.

  5. Feedback

You get prompt feedback from us, and in the best case become part of the team. Our goal is a transparent application flow with regular, timely feedback at every step.

Open positions

No roles advertised right now.

That doesn't mean you're not a fit: the best applications often arrive before we post a role.

We currently have no open positions posted, but we are always happy to receive unsolicited applications. Tell us who you are and what you bring: we'll get back to you.

FAQs about your application

What applicants often want to know.

How do I apply at Aviando?

There are several ways to apply with us. The easiest is to fill in our application form. Or just send your application directly to hallo@aviando.io.

What does the first day look like?

Onboarding usually starts with a few days on-site at our Düsseldorf office. We want every new colleague to feel welcome and to settle in fast, so the first day is calm. After you've met all the Aviandos in person, we walk you through the key processes and set up your IT equipment together. Your mentor and HR are with you the whole time. You'll have enough time to let everything sink in, first days can feel overwhelming. Once you have a good overall picture, the goal is to get you started on your first projects and tasks soon after.

What kit will I be working with?

As an IT consultancy, equipping each team member with high-quality gear is a no-brainer. By default we work with MacBooks at Aviando, and every workstation has a sit-stand desk for regular standing sessions to keep you fit.

How are working hours structured?

Everyone works on trust-based hours and decides when and where to work. We keep an eye on workloads so no one drowns in work, and there's enough room for recovery and personal time. Sure, the occasional longer day happens, but it must not become the rule.

What about training and development?

It really matters to us that you do what you enjoy and what you are good at, so we support you in a strengths- and interest-oriented way. In regular feedback and development conversations we figure out together where your journey at Aviando should go, so we can match you with the right coaching, the right project, or the next interesting training.

What is the company culture like at Aviando?

Aviando was founded by friends, for friends, and that is exactly what we live. Everyone should feel at home, enjoy their work, and have fun doing it. So our remote colleagues stay just as much part of the team, we catch up over digital coffee breaks and via our internal newsletter, and we host both virtual and in-person events for the whole team on a regular basis.

And what else is going on?

From big summer events like a festival or weekend trip to Portugal to small after-work meet-ups like Spikeball by the Rhine or a drink in the Altstadt, things never get boring around here. We love to plan team events and activities, but everyone is welcome, no one has to. We are especially happy when our remote colleagues drop by Düsseldorf so all Aviandos can spend time together.
